Re: What did you do to your van today?
Had an afternoon of painting my hubs caliber carriers and springs silver fitted new ball joints and adjustable anti roll bars and painted disc shield to
Just to Tidy it up I used smooth Hammerite after a wire brush and brake cleaner of come out nice

Does it matter the side of shock that the anti roll bar fits to as standards 1 fits back wards compared to the one in the pic that I put forward just remembered so was wondering if I need to fit it the other way round

Looks nice Paul, seems like a nice cheap way to spruce up the van. Might have to give mine a go soon.

Started on with blacking out the badge.
I decided to vinyl wrap it as i have done historically rather than paint as I believe it looks better.
Strpping the badge down - i warmed the back of the badge up with a hair drier then i used a screw driver to pry the 2 parts apart.

Simple but effective.

Fitted heko wind deflectors but I've got a slight whistling noise now coming through the window. Not sure if I've put the clips in the right place. Also painted my callipers black

My heko's whistle like mad... I've tried taking out metal clips and windows are fully up but still whistle

I ended up running a bead of silicone between the rubber and the heko on the outside and whipped it in with my finger so u don't notice it and it stopped that noise and u don't need them stupid metal clipsWills32 wrote:Fitted heko wind deflectors but I've got a slight whistling noise now coming through the window. Arg I hate them makes me cringe when u put them in certain places and the glass scratches on them could easily pop the glass
