The lower is AC which is no good.
Hi stan,
thanks alot for the info, i got the seats today, they look great, will have a go tomorrow at fitting them, I ordered 2 modules for the heated function but having seen your note on numbers, I may well need to get some off you as they may be wrong. Will i need 2 or just 1 to work both seats?
So, to recap, I have the bog standard 2011 caddy, no a/c. The heater control units with a/c function on them won't work but ones without a/c function will, like this one, is that right?

Also the looms you make, if coupled with the modules, would they supply everything to the seats, i.e. powered movement, lumbar and heat?
Finally, do you need to see the back of the above unit, might be able to get a pic sent?

You only need one module matey. Post the pic or link for the modules you ordered and I'll tell you
The panel on pic will do fine but do you have heated rear screen in yours? As that panel lacks that function.
On another note about a/c panels they use can bus to communicate where the standard heaters don't.
The loom I make will have everything your seats will need.
So once I know exactly what your seats have and you want it will be integrated in the loom OEM way so you just have to push terminals into the places enable seat heating with vcds and voila
No its ok I don't need to see back of the panel. The only thing I would need if you decide to proceed with the loom that you send me part numbers of the actual plugs under the seat with what colour wires go into them, so I can work out the connection and get the matching plugs for them.

Good news that! This is the module I've ordered, chap selling it says it the same as ones you suggested, 1KO and 5KO is the difference, would like to double check with you though.

Will get the pics of the seat plugs up asap. Oh and no, there is no heated rear screen so panel should be perfect.
Nice one mate!

That module should do alltho those are normally used for early mk5 golfs where one module per seat was needed.
I had one of those tested on my seats and it was fine heating both seats

Wires are as follows
