Touran glove box..
Picked one up and whipped the old sorry excuse for storage out to offer it up, they're completely different.
None of the holes line up and there is way to much plastic aroung the edge..
Could some one show me which bits need trimming and how I'm gonna get this bad boy where it needs to be..
Do I have to chop the dash about?
Cheers lads..

Re: Touran glove box..
Is there any chance these were from a left hand drive Touran? Where did you buy them, just saying it because a lot of VAG parts on EBAY come from Germany which would indicate they come from Left hand drive cars unless otherwise stated.. I know it sounds stupid but it does happen..

Re: Touran glove box..
I'm sure there is already a thread on this. There was chopping involved, and even when finished I seem to remember a visible cut edge of plastic, so not a great mod in my book.

Re: Touran glove box..
I was looking at getting one of those office cabinets with the roller shutter type doors and cutting/bending/fabricating/bodging it (the door) as glove box cover but TBH after thinking about it I couldn't be arsed, while a door would be good its not on the top of the to do list
this type of thing..

Re: Touran glove box..
have a look at this picture. if you cut out the fixing points (at the top)in the caddy dash the touran glove box will fit higher up and not leave a gap
this is what mine looks like

Re: Touran glove box..
Just dug my glove box out of the shed. It had a broken catch. I used the same principle as a mk4 golf glove box and pulled the front off and fixed the mechanisim. Just need to fit it tomorrow Freebie
