Hey everyone I need to keep the bulk head in to keep the noise and smells out of the cab (I'm a gardener)
But I also could do with the space to carry long surfboards inside the van, I'm thinking of constructing a hatch that pivots/ opens quickly yet seals well and doesn't rattle .anyone done anything like this or got any ideas ?

Bulk head idea help
I made a hatch for my fishing rods to go through. The panel just attaches with velcro. Obviously you won’t get a surfboard through that hole Is there no chance you can ditch the bulkhead completely and just sound deadening/insulating the whole rear space to reduce the noise? I wish I could remove mine so I could get the drivers seat further back but I need to keep it in unfortunately.

Re: Bulk head idea help
Yeah I need to keep mine in as any garden rubbish in the back causes so much condensation it rains in the cab and all that moisture isn't great in there . Not to mention the smell
