Already seen spares popping up on the auction sites for these.

Headlights for £1200 if anyone is feeling adventurous!

If people start modding these. I think @gtiKris is going to find there’s not enough hours in his days!

That would be my guess looking back at the photos Doc managed to get of the underside (page 3) where there's no tank visible (the only other place it could be is either side of the transmission tunnel but doubt there's room to put one there and keep the floor low).

It doesn’t look like there’s much room there! Can’t believe that’s the same size tank as the one under previous generations. I’ve tried to find info or photos of the bare chassis but not seen anything yet.

Doubt it can be a fuel tank fitted in there. Not a lot of space if you take into account usual space that is required for the wheel arch. Also, that would be a quite vulnerable place to have a fuel tank.

The Caddys on display 12 months ago may well have had some non production standard parts such as the fuel tank.
They were only driven onto, around and off the stage.
I can have a look on ETKA but I'd expect the tank will be underslung and as central as possible.

Having looked on etka I think its the fuel filler neck that makes the wheelarch that shape and doc is correct the tank is underslung. #28 in 2nd image is the evap canister and maybe that sits in the wheelarch as well.

That's the fuel tank then.

Dealer in South Africa says we won't be getting these until next year. I assume that means VW is continuing to manufacture Caddy 4 alongside these, as most Caddys here are manufactured on order (4 months lead time).
