I can look past the looks of mine, as it’s a van designed to haul stuff. The amount of people that have asked if it’s a hybrid or even electric is probably around 7-10.

Also I can cover anything up to 400 miles in a day, and this van is light years ahead of the MK4 Caddy. The refinement is night and day, the ride and handling also.

It has also had some negative comments but more positive, one caddy owner slated the Mk5 calling it a transit connect in drag, he wasn’t so happy when I referred to his MK4 as a cart sprung Peugeot Bipper clone!

Sportvan, as long as you like the van mate that is all that matters. As they say opinions are like ####holes. What you have is a real life owner experience. Enjoy your new van

Thanks chaps, i think the styling is a little hit and miss, hopefully like a fine yoghurt, it will improve with age!
But when you are sat in it you don’t have to look at it.

The back end, I think looks great especially with the lights on, the front is a bit of a balls up though!

Looks like they are aiming more for the regular car feeling instead of go for truck feeling. The car looks nice in front but i dont really like the back of the car. Looks simular to Berlingo

That’s Volkswagen being a tad dumbass again, I’ve got the glazed tailgate on mine and it has the solid bulkhead, you can now gat a glazed one, but you have to spec it! They were also doing this on the mk4.

That's VWCV UK that have screwed up there. The glazed bulkhead has been a factory option but maybe an oversight on the options VWCV UK have chosen to offer at the onset.

Talking to my brother today, he said he saw a new shape Caddy on the road today, and his exact words were "it looks cheap!"

To be fair i have seen a few that made me think twice about the looks of this shape.

Couldn't do a base model but some of the one that have been styled to look good have impressed me
