I have a 2019 caddy with an unglazed tailgate. The issue I have is when I’m working on site and have the tailgate open (usually for some kind of shelter) when it rains, the water drips off the recess (where the top of the window would be) onto the gas struts then all over my kit.
I know you can get the covers that fit over the barn doors but not seen anything for the tailgate.
Was thinking of installing some kind of panel to the side of the aperture of the van but not sure if this would help.
Any ideas or has anyone come up with an ingenious method.
Cheers guys and gals!

Re: Caddy tailgate dripping inside when open
I have a fix for this.
I put a piece of gaffer tape along the edge to act as a guide to get the water to cross the bend where the top of the window is.
I would really like to get some proper pieces made from plastic but need a mould I guess.
They would look like small spoiler pieces ideally.
I'll get some photos tomorrow all being well ...

How about a elastic fabric skirt to fill the space above the gas strut?
That might encourage the water to run down the fabric and the pillar.

Looks good that mate!
Might have a look if I can 3D print some bits out for it.

3D printed version would be brilliant
Top side, or the outside, is just a blade that guides the flow.
Inside where it sticks on is quite convoluted !!!
