Getting bulb out warning on dash and couldn't find any reference to one reverse light installed in central electrics with vcds yet. Will look into it again tomorrow again as it's been miserable outside all dayImage.

Well done. Personally my OCD couldn't deal with the one side having the clear reflector and one side not...

I'm sure you can learn to live with it Image. I really like those light and for time being I made up a wiring adapter to get rid of the "bulb out" warning on dash.
The reverse feeds for rear lights at BCM are:

T52a/28 (black plug)
T52c/28 (brown plug)

Just had to unpin those insert new terminals and join the original wires into the extra wires. Had the terminals in place so no cutting was done to any part of the original loom.

Cleared the faults, tested lights and so far no other warnings or problems.
Will keep an close eye on everything...
I'm not a supporter of bridging stuff but to stop me going insane from looking at the icon on dash I went for this hopefully temporary solution.
Until any other fixes appear I'll have thatImage

In the next 2-3 weeks hoping to be fitting this big boy!
Winter is coming so need to get the car heated up faster.
The while unit is from 2014 Passat and it's like brand new.
I was looking for one for ages and couldn't find anything fresh enough from Caddy/Touran :(.
Lots of bits needs to be swapped from it like brackets and exhaust etc as they are not compatible making it bit expensive as those bits ain't cheap!

Can't really wait to go at it!
