Brooneye's build

Post by brooneye »

Ripley55 they were on the van when I bought it and truthfully never looked at them when they’ve been off.

Had them shot blasted and powder coated a couple of years ago. Can tell you they are 18s and the tyres are 225/40.

If i remember the next time they are off I’ll check

To honest I’m no expert when it comes to wheels but they sit well in the arches. Had a brief moment thinking about maybes banded 17s

Just read the whole thread. Excellent work mate and a bit of inspiration for my 56 plate.
Purchased a Touran bumper today, it’s in for paint next week to give it a slightly different look.

Thanks for taking the time to read it, I’m having a bit of a love hate relationship with it at the minute and hates winning . The touran front end is a great way to freshen up the front end and I look forward to seeing your progress

What a cracking build thread. Some attention to detail and effort gone into this 👍.
Hopefully I see it around as I'm local to you. Just up the road.

I’ve only used the ones either side under the vents and it’s never moved.

Sits so well. Just ordered a kit for mine

Did it require a notch on the front ?

Was the rear kit a straightforward fit or did it need modifying to sit that low ?
I’m just waiting on a delay with the rear kit due to the bags being held up in shipment but should have the kit in the next 2 weeks.

Cheers

To be honest both front and rear was a straight forward fit and the only fiddly bit was running the lines and wiring
