Tar and glue remover is essentially panel wipe/degreaser. It softens it but doesn't help a whole lot.

Lovely looking van, you've done a great job. will make the in-between jobs journey that more pleasurable I'm sure!!

This is a great build! I have the same colour and plan on doing the rear in much the same way(guessing you’re a sparky?)
The side mouldings...are they the black textured ones just painted or are they off a Touran?

Thankyou, yeah it was a nice week last week! Loads of driving, it has completely changed the feel of it.

Close, cctv/intruder alarm installer it seems to work relatively well, side mouldings are touran ones and the rear windows look the same as the day I done them, my only tips would be lots and lots of masking up with very light coats

I ordered some black plasti dip and will give it a go next weekend. Touran mouldings are a little harder to find, found some on eBay for £60 each, is that a little steep?
