@Giddy
Are those original puddle lights for Caddy? I am sorry, didn't seem to find the info in ETKA, could you be so kind to share part numbers?
Could you be so kind to post your existing old and new door control modules part numbers? Thank you in advance!

@judasfan
I've used Arteon puddle lights 3G0945291A/3G0945292A, there is also a "how to" in a technical section of the forum.
Door modules 5K0959792A/5K0959793A (originals without A), but this is a grey area, because the part numbers are generic and are used across multiple VW vehicles, but with a slightly different software. You don't need new modules if only fitting a puddle lights.

Thank you very much for the detailed answer, but I can't see yet this section of the forum!

Looks really nice!

Are you happy with the AP coilovers?

Did you drill new hole in the shackle since you weren't happy with the height back?

No issues with the coilovers so far, had them on for just over 2 years. As shown in the later posts, last year I've fitted shorter shackles from Darkside. Also, I've replaced the rear shocks to GAZ shocks with adjustable damping, not that AP were faulty, but to have ability to tweak the rear suspension a bit.

Where did you go for the GAZ short shocks @Giddy ?
I’ve been looking at adjustable rears, but can’t determine which GAZ ones I need, a lot of places saying anything from 1 week to 6 weeks delivery ?

Bought them from here https://www.tamarwheels.co.uk/shop/gaz- ... -vw-caddy/
Yeah, you need to wait a bit, cause they are built to order.

Good evening, @Giddy, I was thinking....as for beginning of my investigation if modules are "folding supportive", I could look if physical pins , responsible for motors are present?

I’ve just read through the whole thread and this is an insanely nice van!

Everything is meticulously well done, I wish I had the patience and the pennies to do a build of this calibre.

@Tothemaxi thanks for taking your time to read through my build and for your kind words.
It's a bit slow and never ending project, but I'm enjoying the process :)
