Can I ask where you got them both from ? And what’s the Volkswagen app ?

@RBJ2206 eBay mate. The unit came from Ingleby Electronics, I found them on eBay but dealt directly.

Fitted some LED number plate lights, as one of the original ones fell out about 6 months ago, and the other just looks super brown and crusty. The original VW design for these is very poor considering how much moisture can get in.

The LEDs were cheap and very temperamental to get a connection. They do look much better but unsure how long they will last/ how reliable they will be... time will tell I suppose. Image

Looking well mate like what you have done so far ..

Is it easy enough to fit the W8 light setup I'd like to do this too

Cheers @Glen more to come in very near future. It’s not the W8 light I’ve fitted as couldn’t justify the expense at the moment. I believe to fit that light you need an additional loom and to trim part of the headlining. Good how to looks simple..

My light is just from a Passat B5

Those blinds really look fantastic, I can understand why you went with them over curtains, unfortunately I think my curtains are due to be upgraded to similar blinds as they look right for a caddy.

And it’s in! About 4 hours, and if I can do it literally anyone can Image

Annoyingly I wasn’t supplied the end pieces of trim! So if anyone has a part number that will be much appreciated. I will be contacting the seller as they advertised as ‘everything you need’....

In the future I will get the gear surround trimmed with matching alcantara and black stitch, and will probably trim the glove box etc myself. However I think I can live with it as it is for now. I also want to get the a pillars trimmed to match too.
