Hi
Go to Harry’s Euro they based in NZ.
They will be lowering a caddy next week if you can pop around.

Yeah I have been there a few times to get parts. I just got a rear wiper delete from then the other day. I have just lowered my caddy. Haven't taken a pic yet to post.

Got myself some cheap second hand 18" mags and tyres. The offset makes the stick out a bit but I think if I change the tyre later from 235 to 215 it should be better. The rear door just touches. Image

Lowered my caddy using dark side developments shackles and eibach 60mm lowering springs.
It didn't lower the front 60mm, more like 40 - 50mm. I think this is because I have the 1.2tsi which will be lighter then some of the bigger engines.
I had to out the shackles in the 50mm position to make it look more even but the back sits slightly lower the the front. Image

Installed a 4G Android 10 Joying headunit today.
I have used Joying headunits before and was happy with it and this newer version is really nice.
I have a reverse camera and oem microphone on order which I will install when they arrive.
Now I just need a Multifunction steering wheel to match.

Changed the interior light so I could install the microphone for my new head unit. Also gives me reading lights which is a bonus.
Just need to swap out lamps with Leds at some point.Image

Today I installed S3 air vents. Someone else had played around with one of the original ones and it was stuck to the inner duct so was difficult to get out.
I printed my own adapters as having them shipped from UK is rather expensive and well I have a 3D printer so why not.
Very happy with the result. Looks much nicer.Image

Some good work being done there at the planets edge. It's great to see Caddy's being modified no matter what the location. Keep up the good work

Thanks.
I plan to do a lot more with it. The problem is getting the parts. I have been in contact with a few companies in the UK but they don't want to ship to NZ.

Just had the front windows tinted to the legal limit. Looks better in real life then the photo. Rear window was already tinted when I got it so didnt cost much to get done. Image

Replaced the top rear brake light with a black smoked one. It didnt fit as nice as the original so I removed the smoked lens and put it on the original base. Also the rubber seal is more firm so it make it sit out a bit more. I hope this will squash down over time. Image

I'm starting to prep the back of my caddy for carpeting. Not 100% sure the approach I will take yet but I found there was a void behind one of the side panels so I laser cut a box to fit in there. Gives a nice small storage space for tie downs or something. I may put some elastic across the front to stop things coming out. Image
