Thanks InformedLeek. Best of luck with your own build Spireite!

Got the front sound deadening done today, didn't bother adding any under the stock insulation - Hoping it'll be fine

More sound deadening, probably about 70 sheets used so far.

Off topic but had a much needed garage sort out, all the Caddy parts took over.

Wanna do mine!😂

In fairness most of that is in the van now. Just the standard stuff and Golf 5 leather door cards and rear seats to get rid of niw and I can get stuck in on the mini! 😂

The shelves I picked up are a life saver, ~£30 each on amazon, 180cm x 90cm x 60cm. That should get you some space back!

That’s just one of the garages, the other is worse!😂😂😂
My problem is I have too many interests, the Caddy, a 2007 Brazilian bay window camper, 93 Mini Cooper resto, 73 Bay window resto, Yamaha MT10, Cafe racer build, an Atlas lathe and too much stuff that I just can’t throw away! 😂😂

Picked up some Touran seat bases which we're more rusty than I expected. Sanded down with 320 grit, primed and sprayed with gloss black.

My only regret is that I have to repeat the process for the other base now.

Tried to carpet the drivers side today but got glue on parts and cut other bits too short thinking the handbrake trim went lower  And now I've just found out Touran carpets are a straight swap...

Think I'll be calling this the Obsidian build, there's still a long way to go.

Forgot about the new side repeaters!

Any input on alloys would be great, thinking gloss black Pretorias
