@doc ha ha don’t think I spammed the thread this much even when I was building it this time last year, or maybe I did .

@Hef355 I must admit I’m enjoying getting decent photos of the van instead of ones taken on my old phone.

@Fishermansfriend ha ha, sorry, not sorry

@Jdfixter I’m sure there will be other opportunities like at Tatton park or if/when the forum has a meet somewhere.

Another day and another set of Ultimate Dubs photos sent through. I know some may be getting sick of the multiple thread updates but I don’t often get decent photos of the van, so I’m making the most of it Image. This set is from Zamwise Studios (Instagram tag: ash.ow.woah). Really like these, especially the engine bay shot Image.

Put the old wheels back on today in preparation for a couple of trips to the highlands I’ve got coming up (don’t want to risk potentially smashing my good ones). Anyway while messing I thought I’d test fit a set of OZ Superturismo that a friend has offered me.
Ignoring the curb rash; as they are desperately need a refurb, what’s peoples thoughts?
I’d probably get them done in the same silver as my Audi wheels and swap between the two. Image

Yeah I like my old Mercedes wheels myself. But they have had their last face cut, and are suffering quite badly from lacquer peel, so when I get them refurbed they will have to be all one colour. So I was thinking of using the OZ for a daily wheel, and keep my Audi wheels for special occasions, as I love how the Audi wheels look on the van and how open they are (to see my brakes).

I Love OZ Wheels and Supertorismo’s are probably my favourite 😍
They’d look great in Audi silver 👍
They look like a tight fit though!

Thanks @osborne18

I agree Steve, nice wheel (timeless design) and for what he wants for them I’d be silly not to have them. But I think I’d have to fit some 2mm spacers tbh, I know they won’t catch but I’d just prefer a little more space.

I think a yellow pinstripe round the rim would look nice?
