Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
You should be good for now! I can't see anything else I'm going to do between now and the show on the 20th. Apart from the R bumper once it's all painted!

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
Its getting there! Its all the little details this week and reassembly at Reflex. Then hopefully Dooka is going to do a proper show prep on it. I've been busy trying to sort some graphics out today. Got a custom display number plate idea that hopefully works and going to have a couple of display boards to acknowledge the companies involved in the van and list the spec.

The mirrors are built and painted (need polishing)
These bolt in using the original holes in the door as I have made adapter plates. Still a lot of cutting and grinding needed to allow the plates to sit flush.

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
Nearly Dave. I need a passenger side door so I can build them without needing a van to try them. I have a damaged drivers door.
Still lots if time going into them to get the adapter plate sitting at the correct angle to allow the mirror to sit right. I will be needing your skills once my van is painted so maybe we can work something out that helps us both ;-)

Mate not a fan of rear spoilers..... But it suits your caddy very very well indeed. She is going to look amazing. You will have to let me know were you live so I can pop round for a look.

Re: My Caddy 'R' build thread
It needed one I think to create a shadow and highlight at the top. It will work with everything else once you see the whole van.
I will definitely be up for meeting a few people on here as like most of us, I'm a show off at heart! I'm Sussex based but I'm going to be driving about to all sorts of shows and meets in the Caddy. I'm even thinking about going to Worthersee in it next year.

Haha!
Reflex are waiting on something I've ordered before fitting the front bumper and so at a guess it might be ready at the end of the week. But then it's going straight off to see Dooka for a show prep! So likely I won't really see it until late next week.
