I can't wait to get it finished now. Its come so far in just over a week but its nearly ready for the paintshop now and thats when it slows down because i don't paint so i will have to wait for a gap in the paying customers cars :(

Things to do.
1) Remove LH doors and rub down with long block with 180 grit.
2) Change upper rear tailgate hinge panel to accept new tailgate. (order new one Monday)
3) Order Wheels.
4) High build prime LH repairs for the final time.
5) Prep and paint.
6) Flat and polish.
7) Fit up van.
8) Trial fit wheels and order spacers if needed.
9) Measure rear wheel position and modify so it sits central in the arch.
10) Trim ply line and fit.
WOW!!!

Loving the build mate, looks like it wont be too long til you got it how you want!

Can i be cheeky and ask how hard and whats involved in taking the door bump strips off? clips and double-sided tape?

Hi ya.
They are just taped on and come off really easy. I have a rotary rubber wheel that fits in a drill for removing the tape from the paint without damaging it.
Are you asking because you want to colour code them of completely remove and smooth the panels?

No there arn't any clips. I will find out the make of the rotary wheel because it will save you a lot of time getting the tape off safely.

V2 looks sweet Matt - where you getting the headlights and finishing bits from for the bumper etc - Just above, when you are talking about side tape - are you refering to the thick plastic bumps strips along the side? I was convinced they were mounted with clips (sure I've seen a piccie somewhere) and that the subsequent holes needed to be filled?? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick? Might have been TommyZoom who looked at this - can't remember properly....
