Looking wicked, Matt. I thought you were colour coding the centre of the wheels (spokes) to the body colour - must have misunderstood! Thought I read on here about Golf MK5 lower turret mounts or something - would they help you out? (Someone help with my crap explanation!)

Because they are not split rims it makes it very hard to paint them 2 colours.
I will probably swap these for something different in the future.

Just one question about this now amazingly transformed caddy! Where the panels have been pulled out and straightened, is there any evidence of this from the inside? Does it still look crumpled on the panel behind the sliding door or are you lining out the inside to cover it?

The front end looks fkin awesome!!!
Shame you have gone for fake wheels and cheapy tyres, but I guess it's all getting rather costly!!
Look forward to the updates.

I've done genuine wheels and expensive tyres plenty of times but this is a SDI van.Mark M wrote:The front end looks fkin awesome!!!

Re: Matt@Reflex's new Caddy project
I put the side rail cover on today.
Feel free to copy this into a 'how to section'
I made a bracket out of nice strong 3mm steal.

This bolts through the side of the van behind the little grey plastic inner cover (pic to follow)

Add a couple of slide on speed nuts.

You need this clip but dont fit it to the rail cover.

Fit it here after removing this old grommet

Then with the sliding door open slide the rail cover towards the rear of the van onto all the clips

Add some nice bolts

Also got the tailgate and rear bumper on today.
Just waiting for a couple of buffers to set it up right.

Excellent detail on the side rail cover, Matt. Back end looks super smooooth!
