Patience is a virtue, or so they say. I should imagine it's been driving you crazy! Fingers crossed she's up and running soon, Dan.

The exhaust has been built and I believe it's the last little bits being tidied up. Slight issue getting full beam to work so I've got HazzyDayz popping in to see if they can sort it and hopefully it's not a blown module. I'm ever hopeful that I'll be able to collect it soon but no definite date yet.

I've had to not get stressed about it otherwise I'll make myself ill. 7 months it's been gone but I'd rather it was done properly the first time than keep going back to get things sorted. It will be worth it in the end, especially if the next load of updates come out as well as I think.

You've seen more of it than I have then! I've only seen it with the standard engine in but not with the go faster goodies bolted on. They want me to have the nice surprise of opening the bonnet and seeing it for the first time the day I go to collect it.

Had some great news today. Got my V5 back from the dvla with the new engine code and capacity listed PLUS they have reduced my gross weight to 1988kg meaning I'm now not stuck at van speed limits. The headlights were causing a headache for the guys doing the engine but HazzyDayz fixed the issues and now it sounds like a few little jobs left and maybe finished by the end of next week.

How did you go about changing the weight? Just send them a letter? I changed the fuel, engine size, with them. Still came back with same Tax rate!!

Your going to love it! I just fitted my new seats and I am really loving the TFSI power now you don't keep falling out on the corners

Yes, I put the info in the thread about re classifying the weight. Not sure it's going to make a difference. After digging about it seems that because it says panel van not car derived can I might still be at van speed limits. I've sent them another letter to clarify the situation. And yes, mine is still the same tax.
