Thanks I actually got sorted a while back got a unit new from a German breakers that was originally from a caddy so no rear window demister

OK. ...
I have Mk5 golf seats,
I've ground the locator bolts off
But the bolt holes on the rail seem wider than the standard caddy Base threaded holes.
Am I being dense (as it's stupidly late to be doing this type of work ) or do I need to drill 4 new holes in the basement?
I don't want touran bases as these seats already have storage compartments.

they've probably spread a little mine where the same, they'll pull back and you'll only need to drill 2 new holes

Make sure both rails are the same distance in front/behind. The run independent of each other when out of the car.

I have seen a set of audi R8 seats on ebay for not too much..... tempting!!!
