I bought a cheap kit on eBay for my mk2 was about £30. Fitted it was a nice kit but after a week one stopped working and then was just a lot of hassle maybe if you got a better quality kit they do work. On the mk2 was fairly easy to fit just a lot of wires but you don't need to use them all.

I've never seen a 2k chassis Caddy that didn't have central locking.
A few that had no remote fob but never one the didn't lock all doors when turning the key in the door.

I must go investigate this so cause I have a 2004 2k caddy with twin sliding doors. Only bought it a few weeks back and either there's no centeral locking or an electrical problem. Found another wee problem that when I open the drivers door the roof light don't come on and there's no audio alarm to warn if lights are still on. Must go checking fuses the weekend

I'm still baffled.
Are all these vans without central locking or without remote central locking(RCL)?
I've never seen a side loading door with a keyhole so wondering how these are opened without central locking.
If you have central locking but not RCL the convenience module will need to be checked. It might possibly support RCL but doesn't have a remote programmed or maybe it is a low version without the ability to accept RCL.

Please, first say if you are without central locking or without RCL.

There's no RCL and even if i turn the key in the driver door , it only locks the driver door all the other door will remain open.

If you can tell me where to look for any modules or fuses, i will be happy to look and give more info.

If you remove the passenger side storage compartment the central convenience module (CCM) is behind there on the side near the stereo.
If you can get a part number from it, I can check the level of support it has.
Looks like this\/ part number 1K0-959-433-**
