You've transformed that from a van to a 'cracking motor', all credit to you, it looks fantastic. Do you do the polishing for a living? Makes me want to do more to my maxi do you want to sell your 'old' seat covers??
It come with enough wire to run it to the head unit. Biggest issue was trying to get it all through the rubber grommet thing between rear door and rear light cluster. My van is racked out in the back so I ran the wires behind the rear roof lining, then through the bulkhead and under the cabin head lining, down the n/s pillar trim and under the dash. Fitting only took an hour and that includes fitting the new head unit so not a bad job to do.
Barbel330 wrote:Yes they're a straight fit. I used Hel braided hoses as for £35 you might as well upgrade while it's all apart.
Nice! Are they 312mm? I have 312x25mm OE in front on mine, think i saw that S3 had the same discs when i searched for Stoptech-discs that i´m about to order...

They're 345mm discs, originally they come on a mk5 Golf R32 and Audi S3. I went for Brembo discs and pads, they have a really nice pedal feel with the braided Hel hoses and greatly improved stopping power over the standard caddy set up.

Ahh, so stupid! I have the same as the first gen S3 i remembered now.

Thanks very much Jack.
Finally the weather allowed me to give the van a thorough clean, polish and a fresh coating of Gtechniq c2v3. Very impressed with the coating, it really makes the pearlescent paint pop in the evening winter sun.
Also fitted my new Touran mirrors which I love the look of. Just need to find somebody local with vcds that will code them for puddle lights and indicators to work and tell me if I need new modules for power fold. The electric adjust and heating was plug and play so I can live with it for now.
