So I had some fun today. I replaced my rear brake pads. But not knowing that there are three different sets used on the van's rear.

Bought a set thinking it was the correct ones got home, started striping the one side only to find they're wrong.

Then had to ride around to 3 different spares shops to find the correct ones.

What a mission.

Finally fitted my new boot, really pleased with the quality.
Corrected sirus automotive's shocking bodged electrics for the rear 12v outlet.
Tried in vain to get my rear view cam working, so that's back in its box for now.
Also swapped out the black mirror covers for some used grey ones. Paint isn't perfect but it'll do for now.

I like this! Did it need any cutting or just a straight forward swap, I see the gaiter will need changing

It’s just sat in there and bolted to the center console at the minute, just wanted to see if it would fit. And it does but needs abit of modifying on where it attaches to the dash, I’ll get that sorted at the weekend, and I’ll take some pics as i do it

I’ve fitted the gater aswell, bought it all for a bargin price aswell

Joe

@i.d.s. Not sure I’m going to have time. Windscreen at 2pm. Emergency fit in. That will take 4 hours I recon.

I've managed to get the show wheels on (which have come back from Voodoo Motorsports after they polished the lips - they were originally polished but with clear lacquer from ADV1 but it was never a great finish and couldn't quickly polish them at shows), washed the exterior, detailed the engine bay, fitted a new scuttle panel sound deadening piece, fixed a couple of snags and all between rain showers. Lets all have our fingers crossed for tomorrow as I'm getting seriously bored of having to wash it every time I take it out!

Removed the 'prison bars' off the rear doors. Can't believe I put up with the rattle and vibration for so long :D
