Not too sure about the W8 Pete, i know ots a big lump and an 8 cyl and around 260 or 270 bhp if i recall. I just love the sound of the VR engines and the R36 is 300bhp as standard and really quite a rare lump which adds a little more interest to the whole project for me

Yeah the v6s sound lovely, especially with a free flowing exhaust like yours! I’ve never heard a w8, I imagine it sounds more tame though, could be wrong!!
I’m looking forward to a nose under your bonnet next time I see you mate.......and before Pat says anything.......no, that’s not a euphemism!

Only plan for the silver R36 wagon Pat is to tidy it up a little bit and keep it or sell it on for funds to finish my van, let me know if you’re interested in it, bought it really cheap
