I’m looking at upgrading my headlights to auto function. I’ve seen there are some aftermarket kits which seem pretty straight forward to fit.
Has anyone had any experience with these kits or had any problems that I should be aware of before I start? Thanks.

I ordered the parts for this yesterday mate so I'll let you know how it goes when they arrive.

I had one with a sensor, it was ok but I went down RLS route and it is much better.
Easy enough to do, the windscreen/mirror mount is the obvious sticking point. It is possible to bond a none mirror RLS mount yourself but it’s best to swap the screen if you want/need a mirror due to the weight

If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is

The kits that replace the light switch with a switch with an attached light sensor that you mount somewhere on the dash are pretty good, work well and can be manually overridden if need be.
However, I have one installed and the small sensor that I popped down on the RHS of the windscreen is now beginning to drift about as the sticky pad is pretty much useless and I’m on the lookout for a factory RLS to replace it with.

I ordered a fog light kit with auto switch from ebay the other day, but theres no mention of a sensor included with it. I dont have an original auto switch in my caddy, so i guess auto lights might not work?
