Re: What did you do to your van today?
Have looked at videos on needle swaps, seems very straight forward.
Remove cluster, remove front, put a piece of masking tape under needle and mark where needle is, gently pry needle up and remove, replace with new.
My cluster is white LED’s so not replacing them. If you have red LED’s then replacing them is a LOT more work and risk.

If you have red needles, they'll be lit with a red LED, if you just fit blue needles over red LEDs you end up with them looking a rather cool purple colour when lit.

i thought I could see white coming from behind the needle. I’m ok changing 4 LED’s on the console just didn’t want to have to replace 104 or however many there are

Finished off my air con install, all working just perfect!
Only 2 faults - centre control panel and the compressor relay (type 53), most likely they both failed due to water ingress from sitting in a scrapyard
both fixed
Bring on the hot weather!

Fitted a swivel chair base
in the caddy today from CJL leisure. Not as easy as they said it was going to be, 8 bolts in half an hour....
more like 4 hours .
Lots off mods, seat base plastics cutting. Locating pin cut off on the rail, edge trimmed on the rails, shaved the bolts to shorten them, and had to make the airbag loom longer. Big thanks to Jim for his help today.

When I got my caddy it didn't have an Aircon compressor or a high side hose, got all the parts and fitted them today, vacuumed out the system and filled up. Working ac now and freezing cold
