Decided to do the VW badge gloss black and wrap the backing the same colour as the van

Can anyone tell me what I've done to my tailights. They don't light up in the E pattern anymore. This is a genuine mk4 but I have been messing around with some coding so I'm not sure what I have doneImage

Did you do an Auto-Scan and did you save it before you changed the coding? if so revert back to the old code by going into the log and copy and paste it into the new coding box found in the coding section of the correct module if that makes sense? then start again

Strange, AFAIK there's no way to do this via coding. Needs a EEPROM edit via VCP..

I did it using obdeleven. It had a history mode so I should have my original coding there I'll give that a go. Thanks

@anonymous hi, I did try revert back to original but it didn't fix anything. I'm sure where it says new software version I may have tapped that and uploaded a newer version. Could that be the problem?Image

Possibly. I don't know anything about whatever app you're using, where it gets software updates from or what applying them does to your vehicle. You need to edit the BCM configuration EEPROM and write it back to BCM. AFAIK the only software that can do that is VAGCANPro.

Here is a post I made on the edits that would need to be done:
