This week I finally managed to finish off my custom Scirroco instrument cluster facia. I’ve been attempting to do this on and off for a few month now, and I’ve tried a few different ways to do it, but non achieved an acceptable finish. So I ended up resorting to plastic welding pieces on, just for the majority to be sanded back off gradually until it fit.
Really pleased with the finished item, especially as they now fully match the additional gauge cluster I made.
The attention to detail, and simply put the craftsmanship on all these small details in that add up in this build are really what separates this from 99% of Caddy’s I’ve seen. Outstanding work as usual mate
Stunning van and amazing work and I’m only at about page 27!
Love the fitted mats, where did you get them. Also do you, or does anyone know the part numbers for the side door threshold trims after doing a rear seat conversion?

Thanks for the comment and taking the time to read through my build thread.
The floormats are genuine VW ones, so available from either TPS or your local dealer. If you have a look in the useful part numbers thread, the part numbers for the threshold trims are in there.
I’d love to see a video of that cluster mod! How? What were the tubular shrouds around the dials taken from? How did you relocate the trip button? So many Q’s!
