Good wheels back on and wheel alignment done. Need to magic some time and get my finger out with my engine bay parts and Alltrack rear bumper.

My van should be in this months copy of VWT magazine, but I couldn’t get hold of a copy anywhere today. I’ll try further afield tomorrow

Thanks mate.

No major changes, mainly just improving on the detail (the bits normal people won’t notice ). There’s some more carbon in work for in the engine bay, and some more aluminium polishing I need to do. Then is just trying to keep it in reasonable condition while still enjoying using it daily.

Managed to track a copy down. It’s again pretty much the same article as the original Performance VW magazine one (same media group).
But it still feels extra special and makes me feel proud to see the van down on paper rather than in digital format, perhaps that’s just my age? It’s also nice that it will reach another audience.

Finished off refinishing my alternator last night. Painted the casing, removed the casting marks and polished the top and front face. I haven’t polished the full casing as it would make it unmanageable to keep clean being in daily use, so I’ve just done the parts that’s easily accessed.

Honestly [mention]Lister79 [/mention] you’ve smashed it again I say it all the time but I don’t think this van could get any better than I see a post from you pop up and again you’ve done a mod that most people wouldn’t even dream of some serious amount of attention to detail mate, you must be well proud of yourself and deserve a pat on the back. I’ve loved reading every bit of this thread and always will keep up the good work mate. Hopefully one day I’ll get to see it in the flesh
