done a few bits in the last week of getting my caddy, some recaros out of an S3 8L, needed to make some rails as they don't fit directly only caddy or touran bases but that was easy enough. also fitted a ebay android auto radio and some heko wind deflectors.the plans for this 'daily' seems to be getting bigger and biggerImage

I noticed the other week that the diesel cap door wasn’t sitting correctly and was catching the body side. I tried adjusting the door and couldn’t get enough to make it sit properly. I ended up removing it and drilling the holes out a little bit, this gave me more adjustment and it’s now sitting better.

I also spotted (after having my bonnet and offside wing painted) a bit of moisture in the side repeater, the glue holding the lens had failed so I’ve ordered 2 new ones from Vanstyle. Also spotted a few white spots in the paint on the bonnet so I’ll have to take it back to him.

@sm caddy I believe you do mate. If you go to the stickie for new members it will tell you what's required for full access. As you wanted first dibs I'll hold off from advertising them and wait until you have access.

Got some TRC side skirts on, feel really good quality. Deffo prefer the look compared to the sidebars.
Finally got my armster armrest in. Again, good bit of kit but sits too far forward for my liking, also the bracket makes it flimsy as anything so been down the B&Q bracket isle 3 times today.
Its now fixed to the fixing point under the rear cup holders in centre console and to the bulkhead. Stiffened it up alot, and moved it quite a bit further back than its meant to be. Happy with it now
makes a world of difference having an armrest again Image

Managed to finally sort my washer motor, completely confused at first as to why I had 2 wires both producing a 12v feed at first.. figured ’well atleast I have power’

So ordered a motor and hoped for the best! After testing I now see the ground must be in the body controller and the 2 powers are for feeding the front and rear.

@gazza31112 I like the rims. They look great.

I bought the OEM boot liner today:

I hope to have it mounted tomorrow, i need to cut out the seat openings, as well as openings for the tie downs (4)... I'll try not to cut out the openings for the tie downs, since it's connected to the chassis with 2 bolts, so maybe just holes for the bolts, and put the tie downs above the liner.

Anyone have any experience with that?

I need to clean those boot side panels, but in the long run, I'll try to replace it for a mint ones.

Also, I bought the tow bar(hidden one):

I have question for all of you... What are these hooks for? Is it used for anything specific(like sun shade) or is it jus a generic hook?

Thanks in advance for any input,

Kristijan

Not the best of photos because I hate being spotted taking van photos so made it quick, but after a slight incident with a kerb I've ended up with stx coilovers today.Image

My new gear knob arrived, temporarily on my old gaiter as the white stitching one it came with clashes with my seats but love it, mint condition too. Dont know what edition means in skoda talk but I like the little touch :)ImageImage
