Re: Toffee delights
Wow that is a lovely set of wheels Lister. Credit to your talent again.
I’m liking the rear door cards mate first class are those recessed? I seen the frame and then the tartan inset or do they sit slightly proud of the door.

Re: Toffee delights
Thankyou all.
The rear door cards (frame section) are 6mm thicker than the original panels, so do protrude out from the door recess.

Re: Toffee delights
Thanks lads.
Busy day on the van today. My carbon skinned timing chain cover arrived this week from Mr Carbon (C6 Carbon), really pleased with this after I was told it wasn’t possible to do. Whilst I was there I spruced up my engine mount by sanding and polishing out the casting marks and painting the difficult to reach parts (forgot to get any before and after photos), I fit the engine mount cradle that I’d done a few month back with all new seals and bolts used. Also gave the van and oil and filter change and gave the front wheel arches and suspension a clean up, lower arms could do with a repaint as they are starting to look abit scruffy from daily use. Hopefully get the wheels on tomorrow.
Installed

Re: Toffee delights
Some more leave used up today. Cleaned all the rear underneath and rear arches and fit the new wheels.
Absolutely over the moon with how this is looking now, and also shocked at how different if feels on the road. I wish I’d weighed both sets of wheels now to see what/if any difference there is.
Boom

Clean again (for now)
