Used some methods to fully enable Voice, traffic and Android Auto on my Discover Media HU.

Gotta say, it's actually pretty slick! Definitely good value at free. The dealers seem to want a fortune to activate the features 😡..

I'm not gonna promote the methods as I'm no expert and plenty of opportunity to brick your HU.. but I figured it out using Youtube tutorials and lots of reading. You also need VCDS or equivalent, and the easier approaches are limited to only certain HeadUnits, which I luckily had.

Had the mot today and a service passed with flying colours and no advisories well chuffed
Beluga blue caddy remapped to 145ish side window deflector lowered and 18" calibre rims on 225/40/18 Custom exhaust

Swap 1.9tdi bjb 105hp 2wd to 1.9tdi arl +2260 + tubular exhaust manifold, intake manifold Volvo d24, 4wd

over the last 3 weeks it shad a new stereo, new gearbox, coilovers and new engine mounts :(

finally put on the new 16inch steels. gotta say.. 205 60 r16 def rides a lot better than 195 65 r15..

Looks a lot better too!!

Also made a phone holder, as what I needed didn't really exist..

Turned out rock solid and works a treat!

Manage to get a few more bits carpeted in the van over the week and weekend side panels rear tailgate and headlining also got the spot light wired in to a three way switch and working separate to the interior lights . It’s all starting to come together now ImageImageImage

Found my Delphi diag can activate the cruise control. Now to shopping for new stalk.
