Me and my youngest have been working on a little project for a few week.
The rear of the front slam panel has always annoyed the life out of me, as it’s a nightmare to keep clean with all the slats and just generally looks scruffy. So we made a cover for it, and then Carbon Fibre skinned it using a kit I’ve had sat for ages.
We done it so that the weave meets in the middle, as this will tie in better with how I’ve asked for some others pieces done. Was definitely a learning curve doing the Carbon, but happy with how it’s turned out.
To secure it I made a bracket that mounts onto the bonnet catch fixings, I forgot to take a photo as I was chasing the daylight to get it mounted.
Pleased with how it looks installed and it should look even better once I get my other bits back.
