Thanks for the photos, that saves me a trip and ticket for this weekend as I've now seen the best in show.

Re: Toffee delights
There will be vehicles in Telford this weekend which haven't turned a wheel since the last show of 2022 and you'll be showing them up in your daily, that's a real credit to you.
Thanks for the photos, that saves me a trip and ticket for this weekend as I've now seen the best in show.

Re: Toffee delights
I think you've now got to consider showing it with the bonnet off. Its a work of art and can only be fully appreciated when its completely visible. Can't be too hard to sort out. Dan Watts takes his off so you could ask him what he does, like where he stores it at the show.

Thanks Steve.
Ha ha cheers Doc, although I never think Caddy’s do much when up against more common vehicles for some reason.
Cheers Dan, It’s each to their own I suppose, but I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of the bonnet off look. They always look like they’re re missing something (obviously the bonnet
).

Re: Toffee delights
Its kind of what put me off to be fair! I did spend a bit of time trying to find a way to get a polycarbonate or lexan bonnet made just for shows but couldn't find what I wanted so gave up.

Re: Toffee delights
A carbon/Lexan one would be good if it were possible to get a seamless joint, but I imagine the cost would be astronomical.
I remember when the E46 M3 was released, BMW UK sent up a spare bonnet (for a demo vehicle) with a couple of Lexan windows in it to the dealer I used to work at. That was well done as it was bonded between the brace and outer skin.

Re: Toffee delights
Massive attention to detail with this build!
I'm a particular fan of the yellow touches (brakes, seatbelts, stitching etc.) - works great with the paint colour

Thanks all.
Managed to come away with a Top 20 spot, which makes all the cleaning time more worthwhile. Really pleased to start the year with an award, I’m not currently planning on doing many more but it’s still nice.
Thanks as always to Doc & Nikki from Twinsport, without their knowledge and help there simply wouldn’t be any properly done EA888.3 Caddys out there.
Paul at C6 Carbon for all the Carbon work.
Craig Carr for getting my paint to a decent standard, still going strong 2 years later.
Optimus Automotive Trimmers for the leather work.
CSK race exhausts for my exhaust system.
Uber Tuning UK for the tuning.

Was also really nice to see 3 other Caddy’s make the Top 20, including Dan Watts, StillStatic and Gary Paterson from Scotland.

Re: Toffee delights
Caddy is looking stunning. It has to be the most modified van/ car at the show. Congrats on your award.

Toffee delights
Thanks very much everyone. It’s was nice to see the van back to display standard, albeit for a small period. As it’s now filthy again following the drive home in rain, and back in daily form with old wheels, seat covers and mats on and the rattling dog cage in the back. I think a new cage may be the next item I get for it, as it was nice not to have to listen to all the rattling.
