What software package is required out of interest?

Last few days I have took out engine and replaced timing belt and water pump, fitted electric steering rack, ran wires for xenon head lights, abs pump and aircon.
Fitter 02m gearbox with new sachs DMF, clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder.
Replaced lower control arm bushings, ball joints and track rod ends.

Engine will go back in tonight, I’m waiting for a local who is supposed to be breaking a Touran to get a look at it to see if I can get the Aircon parts of it.

Thanks mate, been such a pain this time! They sent one down a few weeks ago, put it on and it had the slightesttttt tint of red which could only be seen at some angles, I was told it was the same as the last one I had on, which I had to change because of cracked windscreen.
I tried to like it but just couldn't, so had a few weeks of back and forth with the company with them trying out "a different batch" excuse! They finally agreed to send me down another one free of charge. This ones called "pepsi" so it's red from below and blue from above, So I'm happy....until I chip the windscreen again that is

Started removing the battered ply and bulkhead to find some odd brackets. Was hoping for a touran seat conversion

Had a day off, got very bored as usual so decided to make some illuminated caddy badges for the "kickplate" passenger side trim.
Not fully finished but actually quite happy with how it's going......so far ImageImageImage

Remap day! Got it mapped from the standard 102-ish to 180 on a stage 1, dsg map at the same time. Big thanks as always to the boys and especially Chay at Fife Autotech. Image

Found a local guy who isn't a shady Russian to swap my instrument cluster from Low- to Midline for €100. Seams reasonable, considering the expertise and tools required. I just had to change a number in my steering wheel control module coding to get the wiper stalk buttons working. A very nice upgrade. I am baffled why people skimp on such inexpensive yet essential extras as a board computer and cruise control.

"fun" is one word for it I brought a caddy badge off eBay and some clear acrylic, put the badge on the acrylic, sprayed over it with gloss black then take the badge off.
Wired them up to puddle lights.
Might change the LEDs to red
