Re: What did you do to your van today?
Lowered my van at the weekend, using Eurocar parts JOM kit https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/jom-susp ... 975449271 - which is the same as the Stance + kit (even down to the stickers) but in silver/blue. It was cheaper than the Stance+, £290 when they had a sale discount code the other day, plus in stock locally.
Also fitted some 17 inch Audi Q2 wheels/tyres which were going cheap on Facebook marketplace.

Still need to replace one rear shock, the 21mm bolt at the top is being a pain! But it was too cold today.

Got my cruise control working in 6th gear on my BLS Caddy. Also fitted my leisure batteries, dc dc converter, fuse board and Anderson plugs in back for my fridge.

Where did you get the door seals Chis? I fitted some generic ones but would get the real deal if possible.

D866 from LLL Parts.
Part numbers
Volkswagen Door Seal, Outer 2K0837701, left hand side
Volkswagen Door Seal, Outer 2K0837702, right hand side.
£48.53 for the left hand side, I assume the same for the right hand side.
Delivery was almost as expensive at £31.31! Best to wait until you need a few bits!

Re: What did you do to your van today?
@philsparky thank mate, hard to imagine someone cutting / making a piece of wood 0.6mm thick (2.6mm)
you almost double it with carpet
I am thinking to use thicker ply so I an mount stuff on it
cheers for the answer

Re: What did you do to your van today?
I only used the original panels so the genuine handle surround would "fit", I had to fettle it to take into account the carpet thickness too

Re: What did you do to your van today?
I think I would either have to router out the thicker panel or opt for the less attractive / non oem looking lanyard version or similar
If I was to router it out then the whole handle would probably sit flush if not countersunk
