Collecting a 2018 Caddy Highline on Monday, the drivers seat needs upholstered or replaced. A guy local to me is selling a set of VW Caddy MK4 life front seats would these be a straightforward replacement.
Thanks

Caddy Life Mk4 should have "Comfort" seats that sit on Touran bases.
Try to get bases with the seats ?

Hi Petrev
here is a picture, not looking for anything fancy, just wanted a direct fit. Will they be okay.
Thanks

Look like they will need Touran bases, I think lumbar adjuster makes it pretty sure, though difficult to be 100% sure.
Can you get the width of the rails from the seller and compare to your seats ?
I measure mounting hole centre distance if possible.
Some people just do a bit of adjustment and drill holes to fit on whatever base they have !!!

The seller doesn't seem very helpful just keeps saying they will fit. Will ask again.petrev wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 3:10 am Look like they will need Touran bases, I think lumbar adjuster makes it pretty sure, though difficult to be 100% sure.

i dont know for sure but my 2004 seats and my mates 2016 seats look basically identical to each other. of course if you got hold of some touran seat bases you open up a whole lot of lovely seats that fit. for example ive got audi a3 sline leather heated in mine which are nice but midsummer they tend to get a little burny if left facing the sun lol

I'm with @petrev on this, the seats you've supplied the photos for look like "comfort" seats which would be fitted onto bases of the same dimensions as the sought after Touran bases.
If your highline caddy has this option from the factory, the seats will bolt straight in.
If not, you will need to adapt in some way.
