Wolfsburg vans

Post by CarlPerkins »

I’m sure many have had rear seat conversions or bought vans with,
But having watched the weekly programme on YouTube and seen how bad some are done is shocking.
They are offering a free check to see if yours is safe.

I had mine installed by them and have to say, while not the cheapest, the service and quality of the fit was second to none and well worth the little bit extra in price.

I just watched that video and was shocked. Pop rivets and self tappers

Apparently it was bought like that so not done by the current owner. But they're running a baby seat in the back. You shudder to think what could've happened in a crash.

Goes without saying, if you're considering buying (or have bought) a van with a seat conversion by someone else have a good root around and see what it's like. If you're unsure get a second opinion by someone who knows what they're doing. As mentioned by PO and in the video Wolfsburg Vans are offering free seat conversion checks.
