Removing roof rails

Would either of you be able to tell me what size spline bit is needed to remove the bolts for the bars?

Hello, have just found the bolts from my old roof bars, and can't for the life of me find the tool I removed the bars with. It's obviously a torx drive of some sort or similar, but none of mine fit. From memory I think I was round my mate's place when I took mine off and probably used something out of his garage.

OEM bolts are M8 spline.

Hi I’m just trying to remove my caddy maxi roof bars exactly the same. I’ve removed end pieces and bolts but they won’t shift . No caps for screw in middle how do you release ?

@Bad666 - The middle cover pulls out away from the vehicle.

any helpful information how to remove the roof rails on a 2021 (SB) model?

cant get around how to remove the front and rear "caps" to get to the bolts...
