It's not unusual for the INNER CVs to wear and cause a vibration. It applies to the Tripod type inners, generally fitted to autos - manuals tend to have actual CV, Rzeppa type, which very rarely have the problem.
My experience though, has been you get a "soft" vibration, through the seat, not the steering and generally manifests accelerating more gently, from about 35/40mph to 55/65 mph. It feels a bit rolly, rather than a sharp vibration, like a wheel out of balance.
They are worth checking.
My Wifes Touran has this issue now, on the left side... but the axle is 100% jammed in the trans!
I had to replace the shafts on a golf after they wore so much, the tripod bearing actually collapsed and munched around inside the axle cup! It had the wobble vibration for quite some time before that though.

Re: Caddy vibrates at 140 km/h WHY?
On my previous Caddy (1.6DSG 2016) I had a bad resonance with slight vibration at 66mph through to 74mph. Finally tracked it down to a duff nearside front wheel bearing - very surprised as it had only done 10k miles!
