Re: Wipers and wiper pump not working
The wiper stalk sends a signal to the cecm (central electrics module) under the dash, above the fusebox and it then sends a command to the wiper motor and washer pump, it's not a direct connection like on old school cars. It's canbus communication - the stalk triggers a canbus message with a particular ID and that is how it knows you want the wipers on. Different positions trigger different CAN message IDs.
If you have a diagnostic tool, you can command them to run under "output tests", if they do, then the message from the stalk to the cecm is not getting seen, if they don't, then the cecm outputs are possibly faulty.
Trace the cable from the stalk to the steering column module and the wiring from there to the cecm under the dash (drivers side in UK RHD) then see if there's corrosion on plugs, a broken or chafed wire, etc.
Bidirectional scan tool like vcds, or TopDon or something is required to be sure which end is at fault mate.
One more thing, have you had the steering wheel off by any chance before this happened?

Yep check the bonnet sensor, if it’s not closed fully you’ll get nothing from wipers or jets

Ive got the same issue with mine, ordered a secondhand wiper stalk set up from ebay as checked all the fuses and tried a pump swap on Friday
