4 touran side mouldings, 2 side rail covers, 1 rear spoiler, and a partridge in a pear tree 8)

Nice!! Well guessed can rely on this forums geekyness!! It's a g60flywheel and vr6 clutch, can't swallow the cost of a six speed yet

they are a little smaller, a better shape and also have a chrome strip on them

changing a clutch and changing a gearbox will probably amount to the same amount of labour, maybe a few more hours for swapping the ends on the driveshafts and changing the clutch hydraullic line
a clutch and flywheel for a 6 speed will probably cost the same as (that) clutch you have there
so do you not think it would make sense to just change it now and have 6 gears as you can probably get the the parts for £300 + the price of a clutch and labour. "apparently, according to a member on this forum you get 100 miles more per tank with 6 gears. with the price of diesel now that means if you use a tank a month then you'll be saving £150, and most people use more so therefor will save more.

thats the way i look at it anyway, my clutch is kanckered so i'm just putting a 6 speed in. and as for the cost of the conversion, when you factor in selling the 5 speed box at the end, and the fuel saving, it is something everybody should be doing!

working on the fuel savings I could save£4160 will a 6 speed fit the lump in my gas van.

I didn't notice any saving at all on diesel just quieter at higher speeds
