I've remapped mine and get roughly 450-520 with the DSG depending how I drive 75ish get closer and above 500 miles to a tank, 80ish gets me 450-480 reckon I could push out to 550-600 at 70mph and chill on pulling away from lights, cruise control kills the mpg too but I'm lazy.
As stated wouldn't do it yourself unless you have the proper kit and can log before and after using VCDS, mine was mapped already when I brought it quiet a few are but the map on there was all over the shop and missing files, along with things that shouldn't be adjusted.
I charge £199 around Swindon and £249 mobile around the south west not interested in a price war so if your closer to others please go to them, only fair.

My caddy is running standard apart from a set of 17's and I got 560 miles to a full tank this week with mixed driving.

I wonder wud I get much more with an economy remap?
