I've heard peanut butter also works... Just make sure you get smooth

Auto finesse revive is great on plastics. Did the interior of my M3 recently and it's great.
Also applied some to the exterior plastics of a mates car and it brought it back up very nicely.

Heard someone used boot polish before then buffed it might give this ago cheaper than some bumper back to black products, which I've always used but its a messy pain in the arse if you get it on the paint work.
