I also finished off smoothing the front grille.

This is where the van is at now. Primer all rubbed down and doors off ready for a final coat of high build primer.

Looking good, I would defo be looking for a "Special colour!", You could carpet the rear, that just leaves the door shuts! :D

Don't get me wrong, its not too much extra work but it will kill me mentally.
I might have a little think about though ;)

Matt, I'm in tears here, I'm so flippin jealous of you, that is gonna be one superb wagon when your done.
You do realize the interior is gonna have to live up to the exterior here too!

How much do you reckon the conversion would cost the man on the street, payin full rate in a bodyshop plus parts to have the front converted to the Touran V2? (not a quote for work, I'm just curious.)

Thanks Doc.
As usual i probably wont have the funds to go mad with the interior but i already have some leather Touran door cards so i will have to swap the seats.
The rear of the van will be phase 2 once i've got the van on the road.

When the van is finished i am going to do an itemised list of part numbers and prices plus how much paint and labour to do the conversion so we can offer it as a service or at least you will know how much you would be looking to pay locally.
We are thinking of setting up "The Vw Caddy Shack" supplying parts, modifications, and maybe our own ready built vans to rival the Caddy Sportline.
Does anybody know if there is a "Caddy Shack" linked to the Volkswagen modifying scene

Matt,
Don't listen to them about the colour change. I think the van is gonna look awesome in the light blue with the V2 front end 8)
Maybe it's just me, but that colour would even be near the top of my list for a colour change
