Thanks
I’m very pleased so far
Stereo is annoying me though. Red or green only.

Thanks
Mines a wince A-sure tech
Would like a new stereo, something with Dab and fm that actually picks up stations
But it does do lots of other stuff we like lol
And a good stereo plus shark fin aerial are way over our budget for now.

Today I finally say goodbye to my dear friend, the front splitter. Having pushed the bounderies many times, today's bump (trying to gain access to a garage to book the long overdue MOT) was just too much. It will be remembered fondly and served me well..

A few things done today...
Fitted dynamic side repeaters...bought from AliExpress (£17...bargain!)
Fitted a new rear air vent after my kids wrecked the previous one (£8 AliExpress again!!)
Replaced the 12v rear socket with 2 USB socket.
Best of all got Apple CarPlay loaded on the head unit. Stealers wanted £250 and the car for a few hours....
downloaded TeamViewer and done remotely in 10 mins
for £100...couldn’t believe it!

Nice few jobs there @Philnanks 👏
Can you do a ‘How to’/What’s required on the Apple Car Play ? I paid the Main Stealers to do mine, but wouldn’t mind trying to get Apple Car Play in her Golf 😄

Yeah will do......I’ll put the contact details of the chap who did it on there. He’s happy for me to pass them onto anyone who’s interested. Called Ryan Oliver. I don’t know him but he was a recommend from others that have it done and was really helpful.
It cost £100.... literally took 10 mins to do. I had to download TeamViewer on my computer , gave him a call and he talked me through it. Mine was done through the SD card. He does remotely access your computer to do it (which I was a bit dubious about) but he needs to do that to upload the files onto the SD card.
Says he can do it on any VW/Audi/Skoda car.
