I have a feeling I know how you felt on your first voyage out in the beast Chris! Nothing quite beats it does it ... indeed you should be very very proud indeed of your achievement, it’s really quite remarkable well done you

I bet it was an awesome feeling taking all that hard work out for a spin. I bet you had a grin from ear to ear.
You should be so proud of yourself.

A day of playing really today.
Fitted the ECS carbon coolant reservoir cover that arrived during the week.
Fit an Audi cigarette lighter blank.
Sorted the disc backing plates out (that were catching). Had to cut a hole in them for the ball joints to sit through; as the Superpro ball joints are bigger than the stock ones, so it was the only option. I did try adjusting them numerous times but when on lock they rubbed again.
Also sorted the reverse light, ended up reverting the clutch switch bypass which I’d bypassed to help the Thrust bearing with having an updated clutch.
Then put 30 mile on the clock Image.

Finished engine bay

That engine bay is nuts. The carbon coolant reservoir is a lovely finishing touch, along with all the other shiny and carbon bits. I think my engine bay looks like it belongs on a farmyard in comparison

I just fitted the same 12v blank this week! That’s where the similarity ends

Hope that’s the end of the snagging list and you get to put a few more miles on it now

Glad you finally got to put some miles on it and the few snags out of the way.

Must be beaming mate at how it drives now after all the hard graft.

Engine bay looks immense.
