I'll end up posting the odd mod I do in the relevant threads mate. Only going to do a few changes that have already been covered.
Hopefully tonight will get on the matt grey pretoria alloys I bought from Tunbridge Wells vw the other week

Collected the van from the exhaust builders yesterday and this morning had a looonnnngg drive down to Uber tuning in Isleham, Cambridgeshire for the final tuning (they were the ones that produced the initial base map so I could get some mileage on the clutch).
Keeping with the rest of the van I made the brief simple to make it as smooth and reliable as possible (I’ve no interest in chasing numbers just so I can Willy wave). I’d also purposely ran the van out of V-power and tanked it with BP Ultimate which has a lower octane rating of 97, as that’s often the best fuel available when I’m up in the Scottish highlands (day to day locally it’s always on V-power or ESSO 99).
Anyway final figures are 417.5 BHP at the crank (365.6 BHP at the wheels) and 545 Nm torque at 28 degrees C. Drive wise it has totally transformed it, and I didn’t have an issue with how it was with the base file on. Really pleased with it.
Hopefully I’ll get Doc to add the videos.

Awesome, I've been waiting for updates all day.
You going to ruin some tarmac around Cambridge tonight?

Assuming you would recommend Uber? Been meaning to get my other van mapped, and they aren't far from me.

Thanks J_Con
Doc errr I’d love to say yes but as I only had 3 hours sleep last night I’ll prob just try and have an early night. I’m soo rock and roll.
IainH91 definitely mate, they were the only ones who were keen on taking the project on when all the big “specialists” weren’t really interested (obviously too easy loading basic stage 3 files), and genuinely couldn’t see what the fuss was about.
He done exactly what I wanted and the van drives completely different yet again. The effort he put in with numerous tweaks to get it just right with zero knock was brilliant and he even put up with me being a nerd asking loads of questions.

Thank you!
Been putting it off as I just want to stick a map on it and dont want to stick it on the rollers. Need to get it sorted.
The van looks top notch! How does it manage on the lake district roads (i know you have air). I am constantly tense driving my caddy in the lakes...

I’m sure they will sort that out for you.
Yeah the roads aren’t great and I’ve already clipped the underneath of the splitter slightly a couple of times, and I’m a careful driver.

Wow thats a fantastic set of numbers they've got from it. Going to be pretty rapid if my show queen is anything to go by!! Sounds grown up as well unlike my obnoxious system! Can't remember if you mentioned anything about an LSD. Does the gearbox already have an electronic one? You might end up needing an analogue one to contain all that power

Yeah it’s a bit of an animal when pushed to be honest, but a lot of fun.
No It doesn’t have an electronic diff or LSD. I did consider an LSD but I’m going to see how I get on with it without; as I’m worried it would change how it drives, especially as it’s currently a pleasure to drive.

Jesus mate! That’s a very nippy caddy you now have! Sounds great on the rolling road too.
I’m tempted to say it’s now finished…..but they rarely are!
