@vizidomar really like the look of those arches. Where did you get them?

Installed MK4 golf pd130 engine cover to my asz engine conversion. Had to cut it abit where the cold air feed .
the engine sits differently in the caddy bay then it did in the golf bay! Way lower,
might consider doing a 20mm spacer lift on the engine mounts although it doesn't look any lower down then the bls engine did Image

4 new tyres (michelin pilot sport 4) and fitted some genuine mud flaps, I’m going to have to modify the fronts as they leave hardly any clearance or just remove them.

Picked up a set of coilovers. Is it worth getting adjustable drop links for the front? Or standard's are ok with it being lowered?

Laborious job of fitting centre caps to my new Audi 18’s ImageImage
Tried finding some caps on eBlag, and nothing fitted properly Image ended up just getting some domed stickers and using the OEM Audi caps, after taking of the Audi rings. Lovely ride on these new wheels, but need to clearance the inner arches a tad as with 245’s I’m rubbing a bit. Not going to do much to her for a few weeks, as all focus is onto my old Beetle, then it’s new arches and possibly big brakes for the Caddy ImageImage

fitted my life rear seats (dropping tank easy, getting tank back in not so easy on your own!)

tried and failed to figure out the factory seat belt mount point for the end under the step trims!

really frustrating me now!

Adjustable. Here in Germany it states that they need to be reduced in length otherwise they don’t pass TÜV inspection.

Im pretty sure that standards will rub anyway

Took van in to garage for vacuum actuator problem. Now being told I need a new turbo.
Do I
A. pay £850 for standard reconditioned turbo oil n filter swap n labour

Or

B. Do pay £400 for upgraded turbo. And labour to have dpf n erg removed and remap I think maybe £1000 total.

Bear in mind engine has done 197k.

Advice would be appreciated

That's a good turbo, it did well.
I'd go with a refurbished/remanufactured replacement if you can find one, I don't see much point putting new turbo on a 200k mile ish engine.
Adding a hybrid at that kinda mileage will only cost you more in the long run. Most likely causing clutch/flywheel problems but maybe even engine problems.
