Technically this was yesterday, but finally managed to get all of the black plastic parts (bumpers, door mouldings and handles etc) colour coded. And the set of Audi split rims I’ve had laying about for a few years refurbed and on! She’s looking sharp!

@anoneamus
Did you have to have your speedo coding adjusted in vcds for the 205 70 tyre as I imagine the bigger circumference would give you lower speed reading than actual...
Speedos are usually calibrated to read slightly higher than the actual speed. With these tyres it's actually slightly more accurate (measuring with GPS). In any case it's within the 5-6% of the original wheels circumference so one does not generally adjust speedo (or expect gearbox etc. strain on that small a change in wheel size - I believe 7% is the cutoff beyond which one needs to adjust etc.).
Cheers man, good to know. I found that there are higher load options available in the 205 70 than 195 65, and the 195 65 just looks too small on the caddy maxi.
Based on yours I'm gonna look into it at next tyre change

Use this wheel size calculator to see what will fit and what won't and whether whatever you're choosing is within 7% of what came with the car.
Did a whole bunch this weekend gone, installed new headlight bulbs, new double DIN head unit and started deadening the front doors (what a chore that one is!). Not going to double post, you can see the results in my build thread - viewtopic.php?f=13&t=50069
